The Social Security Number Trace is primarily used to identify aliases and counties where applicants reside. This search gathers information from a multitude of venues such as credit bureaus, public records (real property) and moving records from mailing houses. NCS' Background's Social Security Number Trace searches credit headers and association algorithms in over 20 billion records, which uncover recent relocations as well as historical addresses.
Returns results based upon a SSN match to display all publicly listed addresses associated with the submitted SSN. The information returned can include previous residential addresses and may also include previous credit accounts. This information should be used for research purposes only.
Credit Reports help employers protect money and merchandise by allowing them to assess financial risk within a matter of minutes.
Credit Reports supply credit history information as well as previous employers and prior addresses (if available). All Employment Credit Reports comply with the FCRA. The Employment Credit Report does not include credit score.
Please be familiar with your state laws before requesting credit reports for employment purposes.

Our Federal District Court searches now are state specific based on the state that you choose when ordering. If a state contains more than one Federal District Court, then all of those courts will be searched. The criminal cases landing in the federal court are initiated by the federal government through the U.S. Attorney, in coordination with a federal law enforcement agency, and with the acceptance of the grand jury.
These Courts do not include cases filed in county or state courts. Mail fraud, bank robbery, interstate drug trafficking and the like are the types of cases stored in the Federal courthouses. Since this check searches the U.S. Federal District Court Master Name Index, if the individual whom you are requesting information on has a common name, this search may return numerous possible matches. This is a 7 year, name-match only search.
